Once I figure out how to post photos again, I will share new paintings.😊
I shared a painting on my Facebook Art page today. It is titled "Vortex" and it is in a private collection. I was just realizing that is how I am feeling today...being drawn into a vortex...that of the unknown. But looking at the painting, I also see that there is beauty and mystery that I am being pulled into. So I will give to myself this grace that my soul has shown me and that I have created myself on the canvas by listening to that deep, still voice that says to me...trust.

Summer 2015

A beautiful day. I have spent some time in my garden putting new plants into the earth. This is a healing practice much needed for me today. My gardens are exploding in size and in colour.
Yesterday, I began a new painting. One that will hang outside on the front of my house. Something that I have desired to do and now finally, I have begun.
I am feeling somewhat scattered as I create these new layers in my life. Unsettled, especially today. And so, I continue to give myself the time and space that my heart and body tell me that they need in order for me to continue with this newness.
I have been listening to various artist interviews, which have centred around creating from our soul. This has been very enriching for me. The affirmation of just beginning and wait to see what shows up on the canvas. Similar in a way to Rumi saying..." This being human is a guest house".

Monday April 29th., 2013

Finally, beginning my posting. I do say that all one needs to do is just start. A totally new experience for me and so another learning taking place.

I will be sharing myself in my art and also sharing experiences that happen on "Thursday Afternoons".

Next, I will learn how to post new pictures...and perhaps to change the cover format of my page.
